TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 30, 2018 – Delta Electronics, Inc. today announced its 2018-Q1 financial results. Its consolidated revenues were NT$50,870 million, net income after tax was NT$2,781 million, and earnings per share were NT$1.07.
Other key items also approved by the Board today are:
1. Acquisition of land in Chungli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, for an estimated NT$787.5 million approximately, to fulfill the Company’s future business development requirements.
2. The aforementioned land is located nearby land acquired by the Company earlier this year. Thus, in regards to the construction cost estimation of a new manufacturing plant on the respective lands, for which the Board approved acquisitions on March 8, 2018 and April 30, 2018, the Board has approved a new construction cost estimation of NT$3,230 million approximately with an area size totaling 37,122 pings.
